Design the rest of your life on purpose.
Most people put more thought into a two-week vacation than into their next thirty or forty years. We work with people over fifty on the three things that decide how those years actually go.
That span isn't a wind-down. It's about as long as a whole career, and most people get there without a plan for it.
The premise
Fifty is a starting line, not a finish.
The conventional advice treats the second half as a math problem. Save this much, withdraw that much, and hope it holds.
But nobody has ever described a good decade in terms of a withdrawal rate. The money question only makes sense once you know what the money is for. That answer lives in your health and your relationships. It isn't in a spreadsheet.
So we start at the other end. What do you want these years to look like, who do you want in them, and what has to be true of your body and your balance sheet to make that happen? Then we work backwards.
Money, health, people
They only work as a set.
Money without health buys very little. Every financial plan quietly assumes you will be well enough to spend it, and that assumption gets examined far less than any number in the spreadsheet.
Health is the part that compounds. What you decide in your fifties about strength, sleep, nutrition and what gets screened will shape your seventies and eighties more than a few basis points of return ever will. Longevity is not really about living longer. It is about staying capable for longer, which is the difference between thirty more years and thirty good ones.
And the capability is for something. It is for a marriage that still has plans in it, for adult children who want you around, for aging parents who need you, for friendships that need tending once work stops supplying them, and for whatever you decide the work of your sixties and seventies is going to be. Most planning picks one of the three and quietly ignores the other two.
Travel is a quick way to test all three at once. It needs the money, the health to do it properly, and someone worth going with. Take away any one and the trip does not happen.
Select any of the three to see what we work on.
What we do
The shape of the business.
NuForm Media is the company the rest of it sits under, including Ivan's role as chief executive of Global Wealth Management, which is the main of it. The remaining work falls into three kinds, and the areas being built each get their own home in time. This page is the map, not the destination.
Workshops, courses and talks
Programs for people approaching or already in their second half, and for the organizations that serve them. Workshops, short courses, keynotes and written material. This is the heart of what we do, and the best place to start.
Educational only, and general in nature. Nothing in these programs is tailored to your circumstances or constitutes investment, tax, legal or insurance advice.
Executive and financial leadership
Fractional and interim executive work, at CEO and CFO level. M&A consulting, exit planning for business owners, organizational and financial consulting, and cross-border structuring. Two decades of doing this from inside the C-suite, for companies and for the people who own them.
This is corporate finance and management consulting for companies. It is not financial advice or investment advice, and NuForm Media is not a financial adviser. NuForm Media does not manage assets, recommend securities, or sell insurance or real estate.
Building and backing
We evaluate and invest in projects that put the premise into practice, and take an operating or consulting role where it helps. Current focus is health, wellness and longevity, travel and experiences, and racquet sports.
Ventures
Built alongside, not instead.
These are areas Ivan is building with his own time and capital, alongside his role at Global Wealth Management rather than in place of it. They move at the pace that allows. Each one is intended to become a proper business with its own home, and none of them is in a hurry.
Health, wellness and longevity
The field has changed faster than the businesses serving it. What used to be an annual physical and some general advice is now preventive and performance medicine, biomarker panels, imaging, strength and mobility work built for the decades ahead rather than for a beach holiday, nutrition that accounts for muscle and bone rather than only weight, and serious attention to sleep and recovery.
Most of it is still sold either to twenty-five-year-olds who do not need it or to the very wealthy as a concierge product. The interesting gap is in between: people in their fifties and sixties with the means and the motivation, who want something rigorous rather than something fashionable, and who are planning for capability at eighty rather than a number on a scale.
We look at clinics, coaches, practitioners, programs and platforms working in that gap, and we expect to build as well as back.
We consider investments, operating partnerships and consulting engagements.
Travel and experiences
Travel is the first answer most people give when you ask what the money is for, and it is the answer the industry serves worst. Past a certain age you are offered either a cruise or a coach tour, both built around seeing a lot of places without being in any of them.
We think the interesting version is the opposite. Fewer places, longer stays. Eat where people actually eat, not where the guidebook sends you. Learn something while you are there, a language, a dish, a stroke, a history. Meet people who live there rather than people who sell to visitors. Come home with something that changed how you think, not a folder of photographs.
It also happens to be the cleanest test of everything else on this page. Travel needs the money, the health to do it properly, and someone worth going with. We look at operators, hosts, guides and platforms building this for people with the time and the means to travel well, and we expect to build in this space ourselves.
Racquet sports
Tennis, pickleball and padel. Facilities, programming, coaching and events.
We think racquet sports are the best retirement plan going. They keep you moving, you can't play alone, and people are still on court in their eighties.
If you are building something in either space, we would like to hear about it.
About
Ivan Minkov
Ivan's principal commitment is Global Wealth Management, where he serves as Chief Executive Officer. He leads the firm's strategy, growth and expansion across South Florida, and that is where the great majority of his working time goes.
NuForm Media is the company through which he holds that role and the other work he does alongside it. He founded it, owns it, and runs it, but it is a vehicle rather than a rival claim on his attention.
He has spent his career as a senior financial executive. He served as chief financial officer for companies across media, broadcasting and professional services, led mergers and acquisitions on both the buy and sell side, and rebuilt organizations internationally when they needed it.
What he does through NuForm follows from that: teaching and writing about the second half of life, executive and financial work for companies that need it, and a small number of ventures he is building deliberately, over time, in the areas this page describes.
He is a licensed Florida real estate sales associate with Florida Capital Realty, through which any real estate services are provided.
He lives in South Florida and plays most things with a racquet, with more enthusiasm than technique.

Maybe you're thinking about your own next thirty or forty years. Maybe you run a company that needs financial leadership, or you're building something in longevity, wellness or racquet sports. Either way, the first conversation is just a conversation.
